About Dew Process
Since 1993, Dew Process Artist Management (originally Secret Sounds) has been a pivotal part of the Magandjin/Brisbane music landscape, proudly based on the lands of the Turrbal and Jagera Peoples. Position Overview
We seek a passionate, detail-focused, and highly organized Junior Artist Manager to support our Artist Management team. This permanent role can be either full-time or part-time depending on the candidate. You will assist in managing artist relations and coordinate between artists, senior management, and external teams such as booking agents and PR. The role demands discretion, precision, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on artist development strategies alongside senior managers.
- Research, source, negotiate, and schedule A&R resources including studios, engineers, photographers, and other creative personnel.
- Contribute to social media and audience growth efforts through content planning, scheduling, drafting, posting, and monitoring.
- Analyze social and streaming data regularly and suggest improvements.
- Create marketing assets and, if experienced, run straightforward meta advertising campaigns for sign-ups and pre-saves.
- Help initiate, execute, and review online merchandise campaigns and manage live and online merchandise settlements.
- Assist with live event coordination including guest list management, travel logistics, aftershow events, and contracting photographers/videographers for content capture.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion while supporting daily management tasks.
- Maintain a database of touring and creative personnel and assist with budgeting and preparing funding proposals and pitch decks.
- Manage and update shared systems such as artist calendars, project workflows, folders, and assets.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses at least 2-3 years' experience within the wider music and entertainment industry.
- Exhibits creativity, resourcefulness, and a willingness to think innovatively.
- Artist management experience is an advantage, but a strong passion for music and management can also be considered.
- Available to work flexibly, including extra hours as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and adept at multitasking.
- Self-driven, proactive, anticipates needs, and requires minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite, Canva, and content editing is highly desirable.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Comfortable interfacing across all organizational levels.
- Basic knowledge of music production, digital streaming platforms, and release processes.
- A deep passion for music, culture, and artist development.
