Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner / Cabinet Maker to become part of our team at the South Geelong Distribution Centre. Reporting directly to the Store Development Project Manager, this role requires hands-on involvement in production where precision and efficiency are equally valued. We offer flexible working hours suitable for both part-time and full-time applicants, with a central focus on quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and assemble cabinetry and joinery items according to specifications
• Analyze job plans and create cutting lists
• Accurately measure, cut, route, glue, and assemble timber components
• Safely operate CNC machines, panel saws, and various workshop equipment
• Ensure precise alignment, fitting, and finishing of all joinery work
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project deadlines

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience in joinery or cabinet making craft
• Comprehensive understanding of woodworking methods and materials
• Proficient operation of panel saws, edge banders, and CNC machinery
• Skilled with hand and power tools
• Able to read and interpret technical plans accurately
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills alongside a keen eagerness to learn
