Role Overview
Operating within the Worldwide Logistic and Supply Chain Centre in Dublin, the IT Technical Support Intern will provide vital support to the local IT team by assisting end-users, maintaining hardware and software tools, and contributing to IT projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily helpdesk support and assist with user issues involving Windows, Microsoft 365, printing devices, Zoom meeting room setups, and other business software.
- Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices to end users.
- Troubleshoot basic problems related to endpoint devices, network connections, and office IT equipment.
- Manage ServiceNow ticketing system tasks including incidents and service requests.
- Maintain documentation, update asset records, and create knowledge base articles.
- Support local IT projects and implement small-scale improvements.
- Develop simple automation solutions utilizing tools like Power Automate.
- Gain exposure to enterprise systems including Workspace ONE, Azure, Active Directory, and underlying network and server infrastructures.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Keen interest in automation, IT infrastructure, network management, and endpoint device administration.
- Strong communication capabilities paired with a customer-centric approach.
- A proactive, reliable attitude with eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work collaboratively within a multicultural team environment.
