Incoming Quality Control Technician

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the IQC Engineer with the qualification process of new incoming quality control tools.
• Assist with calibration and preventative maintenance tasks of IQC equipment, including processing purchase orders to vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting IQC machinery to maintain seamless operations.
• Develop detailed IQC procedures and implement operational and preventive maintenance systems.
• Maintain and manage SAP QM, electronic Certificate of Analysis (eCOA), and IQC Statistical Process Control (SPC) data for incoming materials.
• Perform First Article Inspection on new material batches to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Carry out quality inspections for incoming materials, such as High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) substances.
• Incorporate AI-assisted tools and technologies to enhance work efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and regulations, fostering continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Possesses Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma in Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Willingness and capability to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
• Experience in quality control within engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related problems.
• Proficiency in creating clear documentation and developing procedural guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and diverse teams.
• Dedicated to maintaining the high quality standards of incoming materials through disciplined application of protocols.
• Knowledge or interest in applying Artificial Intelligence technologies within quality control processes is advantageous.
