Housekeeper

Role Overview

Red Cliffs Post Acute is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join their committed team focused on delivering patient-centered care in a nursing home environment. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout resident rooms and communal areas to ensure a comfortable and healthy living space for all residents.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning tasks in resident rooms — including vacuuming, sanitizing bathroom spaces, dusting all accessible flat surfaces, and collecting linens within the community.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways and common areas as guided by supervisory staff.
• Complete laundry and housekeeping duties ensuring that the facility remains sanitary and odor-free.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available to provide proper resident care and comfort.
• Collect laundry from residents regularly, either daily or as needed.
• Label clothing items of new residents when required.

Qualifications

• Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in long-term care settings is desirable.
• Preference given to candidates with prior housekeeping experience.
