Role Overview

Join the housekeeping team at Braeburn House, a specialized care unit serving males with mental health conditions. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment by maintaining all public and private rooms including wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas. Working in close cooperation with maintenance staff, you will deliver exceptional cleaning services adhering to the highest standards. Training and support will be provided to help you succeed and advance your career within Elysium Healthcare.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Uphold security protocols of the hospital by following prescribed policies and procedures.
• Actively contribute to daily operational tasks as a valued team member.
• Maintain professional telephone manner and greet visitors courteously.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with colleagues, visitors, and service users.
• Promote and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Perform any additional duties relevant to the position as assigned.
• Complete required mandatory and statutory training annually as mandated by Elysium Healthcare.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning within a healthcare or similar setting is preferred.
• Take pride in cleaning duties and achieving high standards.
• Efficiently prioritize tasks and responsibilities during shifts.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate effectively.
• Attention to detail ensuring immaculate cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Ability to identify and resolve cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.

Work Location

The role is based at Braeburn House, Charles Street, Salford, Manchester, M6 7DU. This rehabilitation and recovery center serves males continuing their mental health recovery journey and provides intensive support.

Part-time hours may also be considered and discussed during the interview process.
