Job Summary
Human Touch Home Health is recruiting compassion-driven and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join their team serving patients in Washington, DC. This role involves offering personalized, one-on-one care at patients' homes, focusing on maintaining their safety, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with everyday activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Help with mobility tasks including transfers and walking.
- Prepare simple meals and aid with feeding when necessary.
- Carry out light housekeeping related to patient care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Monitor and communicate any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must hold an active Washington, DC Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working autonomously within patients' homes.
- Previous experience in home care is a plus but not mandatory.
