Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking enthusiastic Home Delivery Drivers to serve as the company's frontline representatives. This position offers an active work environment that values independence and meaningful interactions with customers. The ideal candidate will take pride in safe driving and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring groceries reach customers in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow proper van loading procedures, including safe heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Comply with all safe driving standards and practices.
• Conduct vehicle checks to maintain roadworthiness.
• Deliver food orders ensuring optimal condition upon arrival.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers during deliveries.
• Assist with in-store tasks when necessary.
• Maintain high levels of independence and manage work schedules effectively.
• Work various shift patterns ranging between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive attitude, friendliness, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate strong awareness and commitment to road safety.
