Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 4 years in hedge fund accounting to join our team in Hyderabad. This position operates on a US night shift basis with a work-from-office setup. Candidates will benefit from a salary package up to 12 lakh INR per annum and a 30% hike over their last drawn salary. The role requires familiarity with Geneva or Investran tools and expertise in various hedge fund accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily journal entries for cash and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with supporting documentation and client timelines.
- Carry out regular cash and bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements, schedules of investments, and portfolio valuations.
- Monitor cash flows to support capital calls and distributions regularly.
- Produce and review monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual financial statements with all necessary supporting documents.
- Manage the preparation and review of partner capital statements and waterfall schedules.
- Oversee monthly valuations and reconcile fund drawdowns, distributions, accruals, and expenses.
- Administer and review partner capital activities including capital calls, distributions, and partner transfers.
- Calculate and verify management fees and carried interest allocations in alignment with fund documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in hedge fund accounting.
- Proficiency with hedge fund processes such as capital calls, distributions, management fees, and Net Asset Value calculation.
- Experience in waterfall calculations and fee structures.
- Hands-on use of Geneva or Investran accounting software.
Eligibility
Open to any graduate with relevant experience in hedge fund accounting.
