The Head of Revenue Assurance is entrusted with preserving the company's financial integrity by ensuring that all generated revenue is precisely tracked, gathered, and documented. The role emphasizes detecting and preventing revenue leakages, enhancing billing precision, and fortifying internal financial controls over all income channels.

Primary Duties

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive revenue assurance framework within the Finance department.
• Guarantee adherence of all revenue-related processes to accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.
• Partner with the CFO and internal audit teams to enhance financial governance and ensure transparency.
• Supervise the complete revenue process from transaction onset through cash receipt, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Detect and address risks of revenue leakage across systems, products, and business units.
• Create and track key performance indicators focusing on revenue efficiency, accuracy, and recovery.
• Collaborate with IT, Billing, and Operations teams to boost data accuracy alignment between financial and operational systems.
• Introduce and refine system controls, automation solutions, and reconciliation procedures.
• Direct scheduled audits and reconciliation activities concerning revenue systems.
• Deliver precise and prompt reports on revenue trends, discrepancies, and recovery patterns.
• Offer analytical insights with strategic recommendations to enhance revenue collection, forecasting, and financial accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by maintaining revenue data integrity.
• Lead and mentor the Revenue Assurance team to uphold stringent financial control standards.
• Promote continuous enhancements in revenue-related processes and policies.
• Support Finance leadership on strategic projects centered on profitability and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline; advanced qualifications such as Master’s or CPA/CA/CMA are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, auditing, or revenue assurance roles, with at least 5 years holding leadership responsibilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards and internal control structures.
