Role Overview
As the Head of Product, you will join a pivotal stage in Seatfrog's growth by leading the product strategy for a category-defining travel technology firm. This role involves direct collaboration with the founders and a leadership team to scale the platform, maximise monetisation, and drive international expansion. You will oversee product management teams, design, and customer support functions, focusing on merging consumer and enterprise product strategies with a particular emphasis on leveraging our proprietary data platform for commercial gain.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and continuously refine the product strategy integrating both consumer and enterprise platforms.
- Advance prioritisation and decision-making frameworks to ensure efficient delivery and scalability of product initiatives.
- Exploit and transform valuable data assets into scalable monetisation opportunities globally.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the product team to achieve their highest potential.
- Collaborate with external clients, including train operators and partnership vendors, to align product developments with market needs.
- Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to unify the product roadmap and accelerate growth.
- Balance user experience and revenue generation effectively across the entire product funnel.
- Drive the adoption of modern tools, AI technologies, and automation in product development workflows.
- Promote a culture of alignment and cooperation across product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and finance teams.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive senior product leadership in technology companies experiencing rapid growth.
- Proven track record with marketplaces, platform-based, or consumer products at scale.
- Experience leading products in data-centric environments with demonstrable data monetisation success.
- Background working in founder-led or scaling start-ups.
- Deep familiarity and practical experience with AI tools and methodologies in product contexts.
- Strong strategic vision combined with excellent commercial acumen.
- Adept at balancing high-level strategy with practical execution capabilities.
