Our global team includes designers, animators, developers, videographers, email experts, content creators, and performance marketers. The missing element is a skilled leader to unify these talents and manage creative projects from concept to final execution.
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive Head of Creative & Ecommerce Execution to oversee Venty's creative production and ecommerce deployment. This role is distinct from typical marketing strategist or purely project management positions; it calls for strong visual acumen and the ability to personally engage in design tasks, especially within Figma. Responsibilities include optimizing ecommerce layouts, guiding creative team members and freelancers, and ensuring all projects reach successful completion and precise implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate designers, animators, videographers, developers, and freelancers.
- Convert product concepts and campaign ideas into focused creative briefs and production schedules.
- Critique and enhance Figma designs before final approval.
- Steer the development of website pages, product launches, email campaigns, advertisements, social content, and related assets.
- Maintain consistent visual style and messaging across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Kickstarter, email, and social media.
- Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Assess visual quality, accuracy, and usability of layouts for both mobile and desktop.
- Oversee creative project timelines, revisions, deliverables, and approvals.
- Deliver concise, unified feedback to freelance contributors.
- Detect and address weak creative outputs proactively to minimize founder intervention.
- Collaborate with performance marketing to identify high-impact creative concepts.
- Create repeatable processes, templates, and standards to boost efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure full ownership of projects through to public launch, not just design completion.
Candidate Profile
- At least six years in ecommerce design, creative production, brand creative, or similar roles.
- Strong background with consumer or DTC brands.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Portfolio showcasing superior visual judgment and top-tier ecommerce designs.
- Experience managing remote creative teams including designers, freelancers, developers, and production partners.
- Deep understanding of Shopify, landing pages, mobile ecommerce, and conversion-driven design.
- Capability to direct video, animation, photography, and paid social content creation.
- Comfortable blending creative leadership with hands-on design work.
- Effective at providing clear written briefs and feedback.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of project completion.
- Ability to make autonomous decisions without frequent founder oversight.

- Your expertise is predominantly strategic or focused on meeting and timeline management without hands-on design involvement.
- You require a large internal team rather than managing freelancers.
- Your background is mainly agency work instead of consumer brands.
Success Metrics within First 90 Days
- Establish clear ownership of the creative team.
- Enhance the quality of briefs and reduce revisions needed by freelancers.
- Enable website and email projects to progress smoothly without daily founder input.
- Ensure Figma files are refined prior to final review.
- Implement clear timelines and asset management for product launches.
- Reduce founder involvement in correcting layouts and managing contributors.
- Create a consistent and distinguishable visual system across all channels.
Location & Compensation
This role is fully remote, with preference for candidates located in North America or those who can work with substantial overlap of U.S. business hours. The annual salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 plus eligibility for an annual bonus. The Head of Creative & Ecommerce Execution reports directly to the CEO.
