Job description
Position Overview
Starting November 1, 2026, a forward-thinking and proactive Hausmeister (caretaker/facility maintenance technician) is sought for a structured succession plan. This role offers a variety of engaging tasks managing multiple properties including administrative buildings, educational centers with workshops, a guesthouse, and a bistro.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diverse properties such as administrative offices, vocational training centers, guest accommodations, and food service areas.
- Ensure smooth operation and upkeep of technical equipment including heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
- Maintain and supervise advanced event and building technologies, including media equipment and digital locking systems.
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on buildings, systems, and furnishings.
- Take care of outdoor areas and fulfill responsibilities related to traffic safety.
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors and service providers.
- Operate building management systems and ticketing platforms for task documentation and tracking.
- Prepare and arrange rooms for training sessions and events.
- Conduct supply and transportation errands as needed.
- Assist with event and fair setups and breakdowns.
