About the Role
At Kana, we seek a GTM Engineer—a technically proficient creator who treats the revenue funnel as a highly efficient machine rather than a conventional growth marketer or sales operations lead. Your mission is to maximize the sales team’s opportunities by architecting and operating an AI-driven demand generation system that leverages Kana’s platform combined with an advanced technology stack. This ensures personalized, scalable, and continuously optimized inbound and outbound marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage the Outbound Engine using tools such as Clay for deep research and lead enrichment, Wiza and Sales Navigator for audience sourcing.
- Scale large-scale outreach efforts by implementing and maintaining outbound email sequences with Instantly.ai and executing signal-based LinkedIn outreach through Valley, focusing on AI-generated personalization and high deliverability.
- Serve as the custodian of the central CRM system—HubSpot—automating the lead journey end-to-end from discovery to booked meetings with no manual data entry.
- Lead inbound and SEO initiatives by identifying high-value keywords and content gaps with SEMRush and deploying compelling AI-generated marketing content.
- Oversee and optimize paid search and social media campaigns, ensuring continuous message testing, positioning, and experimentation feed into paid channels for better performance.
- Continuously test and refine funnel components such as messaging, landing pages, and workflows using data-driven A/B testing methodologies to improve effectiveness.
- Function as the company's initial user of Kana’s agentic platform, deploying internal AI agents to discover new audiences, optimize digital marketing, and enhance brand presence in the large language model ecosystem (AEO).
Candidate Profile
- Technical Marketer with a background in Growth Engineering or Revenue Operations who builds integrations among marketing tools using APIs, webhooks, and automation in Google Workspace.
- A compelling storyteller capable of effectively communicating strategies, experiments, and outcomes at events, webinars, and client sessions.
- An enthusiast of AI technologies, proficient in prompting with tools like Claude, GPT, Gemini and adept at using large language models for data transformation and automation of advanced cognitive tasks.
- Analytical and data-driven, with a deep understanding of customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, conversion metrics, and attribution models to steer experiments.
- Action-oriented, favoring rapid deployment of experimental campaigns over delay in pursuit of perfection.
Job Location and Collaboration
This position is remote; however, candidates must be able to participate in team collaborations on-site in San Francisco once or twice per month. The company provides travel and accommodation for these on-site meetings.

Compensation
The annual base salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 for this full-time position, determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Additional benefits are included. Specific salary details related to your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process.
