Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Market Data Analyst at the graduate or early-career level. This role offers the chance to gain practical exposure to financial data across diverse institutions like banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance firms, and pension funds. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will engage with proprietary software and AI technologies to deliver insightful market data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and maintain diverse market datasets from both internal and external sources.
• Assist senior analysts in client data analysis tasks.
• Learn to utilize advanced proprietary platforms to process and visualize market data effectively.
• Support automation efforts by applying AI and machine learning tools to enhance data processing and insight generation.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Help prepare client-facing materials ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and ensure data quality by identifying discrepancies across datasets.
• Communicate findings clearly within the team and participate in stakeholder reporting.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to support various data projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Some practical experience in data analysis through internships, academic projects, or placements.
• Foundational proficiency with Excel and eagerness to expand skills in SQL and Python.
• A strong interest in financial markets and understanding the role of data in strategic decisions.
• Curiosity about artificial intelligence applications in financial services.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a desire to learn.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
