Role Purpose

The General Manager will take charge of overseeing all everyday operations on the property, ensuring smooth and profitable functioning. This role involves comprehensive engagement across departments and stakeholder relations, requiring active operational leadership. Successful candidates will lead by example, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to foster a culture of consistent excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the property including revenue generation, hiring and staff development, customer service delivery, and achieving financial goals.
• Lead and nurture the hotel team to secure profitability and ongoing success.
• Drive transformational initiatives enhancing performance aligned with strategic objectives.
• Establish and maintain solid partnerships with stakeholders, property owners, guests, and regional shared services.
• Ensure top-tier product and service quality while optimising revenue and managing expenses.
• Recruit and cultivate a motivated team focused on elevating customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the hotel’s community ambassador, representing the brand and promoting local engagements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven leadership experience as an Operational, Hotel, or General Manager with extensive understanding across departments and stakeholder management.
• Ability to foster an inclusive environment encouraging team members to express their authentic selves.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage challenges, and improve service standards.
• Demonstrated success in driving financial growth through strategic planning and execution.
• Knowledge of hospitality business metrics to increase revenue and inspire team alignment with goals.
• Experience collaborating with body corporates in Multi-licensed Residential (MLR) environments is advantageous.
