Role Overview
As a General Help associate, you will contribute to the smooth operation of daily activities by performing various tasks including cleaning, food preparation, meal service, and dishwashing.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and shared spaces through housekeeping duties.
- Assist with food preparation, arrange and clean dining areas, serve meals, deliver food trays to residents, and ensure kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, promptly report injuries or hazards to supervisors, and comply with other reasonable management requests.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a valid Food Handler Certificate or an equivalent certification recognized provincially.
- Experience in housekeeping and food service roles is advantageous.
- Preferably having prior exposure to healthcare or long-term care settings.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written, with the ability to understand and execute instructions accurately.
