Role Overview
The Facility team at the Speyer site is looking for a full-time Gärtner / Landschaftsgärtner (m/f/d) starting immediately. Reference number: 120.
Responsibilities
- Carry out vegetation maintenance across the grounds.
- Ensure that green areas and outdoor facilities always present a neat and attractive appearance.
- Identify potential hazards in vegetation at an early stage and remove them professionally.
- Maintain and design the garden area, including flower and meadow care.
- Perform tree care and, where required, safely fell designated trees and eliminate quality-related defects.
- Remove cuttings, clear leaves, clean parking areas, handle winter services, and maintain garden tools and equipment.
- Undertake minor repairs in paths and walkways, such as paving work.
- Support the team with general caretaker tasks when needed, including small repairs to doors and windows, locks, and painting work.
Requirements
- Completed training as a forestry and landscape maintenance specialist, landscape gardener, or a comparable qualification.
- Initial experience in horticulture is desirable.
- Practical manual skills and solid technical understanding.
- Valid driving licence category B.
- Strong knowledge of plant cultivation and of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Good organisational skills, service orientation, and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Good command of German.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions together with the team.
