About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned freelance Solution Architect with significant expertise in Azure Databricks and enterprise-scale data platforms. This role demands proficiency in architecting scalable Lakehouse frameworks, mastery of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and extensive experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure and data governance practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust Lakehouse architectures tailored to enterprise needs.
- Employ Delta Lake and Unity Catalog technologies to manage and secure data lakes effectively.
- Develop comprehensive Azure Cloud solutions with a focus on scalability and security.
- Integrate SAP data sources within enterprise data lake solutions.
- Apply best practices in data governance, ensuring compliance and security standards are met.
- Utilize Medallion architecture concepts to optimize data ingestion and processing.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Extensive experience with Azure Databricks for data engineering and analytics workflows.
- Deep understanding of Azure Cloud architecture and services.
- Proficiency with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog data management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Lakehouse and Medallion architecture paradigms.
- Experience building enterprise-scale data lake solutions integrating SAP data.
- Strong grasp of data governance frameworks and security implementations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

This role is offered on a freelance basis, allowing remote work within India. Candidates should bring over 15 years of relevant experience to adequately fulfill the responsibilities.
