Overview
Acclaro is seeking Freelance Mobile App Testers located across Ireland to participate in remote testing assignments for an innovative financial services mobile app. This role offers flexible freelance work designed to accommodate diverse schedules including students, freelancers, and remote workers. Prior software testing experience is not mandatory as full training and guidance will be provided.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct designated mobile app testing scenarios according to provided instructions.
- Carefully follow detailed step-by-step workflows during testing.
- Record your smartphone screen while executing tests.
- Detect and document any irregular or unexpected app behaviors.
- Submit clear, concise test reports and screen recordings within deadlines.
- Communicate issues effectively in English.
Workload and Duration
- Approximately one testing task each week.
- Each assignment requires around 30 minutes to complete.
- Deliverables are expected within 1 to 2 business days.
- The project spans roughly 2 to 3 months.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants must reside in Ireland with an active personal bank account at an Irish bank, as logging into the app with this account is a test requirement.
- Ownership of a smartphone operating on iOS 18 or newer, or Android 7 or higher, is essential.
- Possession of an active Irish mobile phone number is required.
- Comfort with installing/using mobile apps, following instructions meticulously, recognizing unexpected app activity, recording screens, and submitting accurate reports promptly.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet environment for independent remote work.
- Ability to complete assignments within the specified timeframes.
