Foreign Material Inspector (12hr Shift Rotations)

Role Overview

The main responsibility of this position is to identify and remove foreign materials and substandard products from the processing line to ensure quality control.

Primary Duties

• Identify and eliminate foreign objects present on the production line.
• Remove any products that do not meet quality standards from the line promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety and efficiency.
• Report issues such as an unusual amount of foreign materials to the Process Supervisor immediately.
• Conduct comprehensive shift handovers to incoming personnel to maintain continuity.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies, environmental standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Apply Behavioral Based Safety principles to ensure personal safety and that of nearby colleagues.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning tasks as assigned, including during shutdown periods.
• Remain at the workstation until officially relieved during shift changes.
• Provide on-the-job training, support, and guidance to team members where necessary.
• Escalate any concerns or challenges to supervisors or managers without delay.
• Undertake any additional duties as reasonably requested by leadership personnel.

Required Qualifications and Training

• Completion of Lamb Weston chemical safety training.
• Health & Safety awareness and training.
• Understanding and practice of GMP standards.
