Position Summary

We seek dedicated Floor Technicians responsible for meeting high-quality standards in floor and carpet maintenance across commercial properties. This role emphasizes efficient, safe, and thorough floor care consistent with company values.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleaning standards for floors and carpets.
• Complete timesheets accurately for each job site.
• Perform dust mopping and sweeping of hard surface floors.
• Buff and scrub floors to restore cleanliness and shine.
• Apply and strip floor wax effectively.
• Execute carpet extraction and shampooing procedures.
• Report maintenance issues and damaged or stained carpets following company policy.
• Ensure workplace safety at all sites and offices.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly and efficiently.
• Optimize time management during shifts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent educational/work experience combination.
• Experience as a floor technician is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong personal work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Flexibility to adjust work habits as needed.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours.
• Infrequent travel may be required.

Physical Demands

This role involves frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, and some repetitive activities. Reasonable accommodations are available for employees with disabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay of $23 per hour.
