Role Overview
The Financial Analyst position is integral to the finance department. Key duties focus on handling incoming requests accurately and efficiently from internal teams, banks, and auditors, alongside preparing financial data for management and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and modeling of management profit and loss statements and analytical reports.
- Oversee cost calculation and control mechanisms.
- Gather, verify, and consolidate data for banking and counterparty questionnaires covering projected turnover, currency transactions, covenants related to average monthly balances, and other financial metrics.
- Respond to inquiries from banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Create analytical tables and reports to fulfill ad hoc management requests.
- Draft concise analytical notes and explanatory documents.
- Manage reconciliations and financial settlement reports.
- Ensure the precision of all financial data provided.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Russian at a professional level.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Auditing, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in roles such as Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst, Junior Auditor, or similar, within consulting, trading, logistics, audit firms, banks, or financial institutions.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data structuring.
- Proficient with MS Word or Google Docs.
- Competency in crafting formal business correspondence and responses.
- Good understanding of document flow processes and meticulousness in handling financial paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and systematize data effectively.
