Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Field Service Technician to join our team in Larapinta, Queensland. This role involves collaborating within a supportive environment and offers the opportunity to develop a career working on premium forklift trucks recognized worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve both software and hardware problems related to forklift trucks.
• Request spare parts through the designated Parts Portal.
• Utilize the Linde Service Application to receive job assignments from the office and document pertinent information.
• Maintain effective communication and deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage stock levels within the service van and take responsibility for the upkeep and care of tools.
• Coordinate daily job schedules with Service Allocators to guarantee timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
• Support repairs of units in the workshop as needed.
• Assist fellow service technicians when required.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to address any urgent issues according to company policy and industrial agreements.
• Conduct servicing and repairs on various models and sizes of forklifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical background preferred, particularly experience with forklifts, heavy machinery, or automotive repair.
• Proactive work approach with enthusiasm for servicing and maintenance duties.
• Strong commitment to contributing positively within the Linde team.
