Job Overview

The Field Solar Expert will play a crucial role in promoting rooftop solar systems by engaging potential customers directly, conducting site assessments, and communicating the benefits and savings associated with solar technology. This role demands strong sales acumen, excellent communication abilities, and regular travel within Pune and Ahmednagar areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer visits to promote and explain rooftop solar systems.
• Perform site surveys and liaise with the technical team to ensure accurate evaluations.
• Generate leads and convert inquiries into confirmed sales opportunities.
• Clearly articulate system benefits, financial savings, and return on investment to customers.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system routinely.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local builders, architects, electricians, and residential societies to foster sales growth.

Requirements and Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in sectors like solar, real estate, insurance, or BFSI involving consultative selling.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to simplify technical information for clients.
• Basic understanding of net metering and government subsidy programs is advantageous.
• Familiarity and proficiency in using CRM software for tracking sales activities and reporting.
• Possession of a two-wheeler and readiness to travel extensively within Pune and Ahmednagar regions.
• Strong follow-up discipline and ability to meet sales targets effectively.
