Role overview

The Facilities Manager will oversee the efficient, safe, compliant, and cost-conscious running of Huda Beauty’s office across three floors in Dubai. The role is responsible for keeping the workplace in excellent condition, meeting UAE health and safety requirements, and delivering a positive experience for employees and visitors. It also involves managing a team of 9 and maintaining high standards across all workplace support activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Run the daily operations of the three-floor office, making sure all spaces remain clean, safe, functional, and properly maintained.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service partners such as cleaning, maintenance, and security providers, including contract negotiation, SLA oversight, and cost control.
  • Oversee both preventive and reactive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems, while carrying out regular inspections across each floor.
  • Maintain compliance with UAE regulations covering health, safety, fire, and building standards, and lead drills, evacuation planning, emergency response, and risk assessments.
  • Plan and optimise office layout, seating, and workspace use, and support relocations, fit-outs, and office reconfiguration projects.
  • Administer the facilities budget for maintenance, utilities, and services, including spend tracking, invoice approval, and identifying savings opportunities.
  • Supervise security systems, access control, and business continuity preparations, and coordinate action during incidents or emergencies.
  • Ensure the workplace remains professional, welcoming, and organised, while also supporting company events, executive visits, and employee service requests.
  • Promote sustainability through energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible resource use across the office environment.
  • Lead and manage the facilities and office support team to maintain consistent service quality.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities or workplace management, preferably in a fast-moving consumer, luxury, or beauty business.
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-floor office spaces; exposure to environments of 5,000+ sqm is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead operational teams, with direct management of facilities or office support staff required.
  • A degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Strong understanding of UAE building rules and health, safety, fire, and compliance legislation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence working across all organisational levels.
  • Strong planning and project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities at once.
  • A proactive, practical problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail and an interest in creating an excellent workplace.
  • Comfort using facilities management systems and MS Office or Google Workspace tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
