About the Role
Nando's PERi-PERi is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Expeditors, with both full-time and part-time positions available. This role offers a dynamic and enjoyable work environment where employees can grow their restaurant careers or earn additional income.

Role Responsibilities
Expeditors act as the crucial link between the kitchen and customers, ensuring orders are prepared promptly, meet Nando's quality standards, and are delivered to the correct patrons. They are also responsible for assembling take-out orders, often serving as the final point of contact with take-out customers. Expeditors must maintain organization, efficiency, professionalism, and politeness while collaborating with team members to surpass guest expectations and provide the quintessential Nando's experience.
Requirements and Expectations
- Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively within a team setting
- Capability to stay calm and productive under pressure
- Dedication to quality service along with knowledge of food and beverages
- Understanding and adherence to safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
- Basic proficiency in English and effective professional communication skills
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds independently for extended periods
- Endurance to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes throughout a shift
- Capacity to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Capability for reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift overhead and navigate multiple levels by climbing stairs in multi-story restaurants
