Currently, Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation is in search of experienced Excavator Operators skilled in open-cut mining operations, particularly with heavy earthmoving equipment such as Liebherr 9600, 996, 9400, 9350, Cat 6060 excavators, and also considering expertise with Hitachi excavators.

Role Details

The role involves operating large heavy plant machinery within a mining environment. Operators will participate in a rotating lifestyle roster (5/4, 4/5, 5/5) which includes day, night, and weekend shifts. Commitment to safety, community standards, and environmental responsibility is essential.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience in safely operating heavy earthmoving machinery in mining settings
Effective communication skills with a readiness to collaborate in a high-performance team
Dedication to rigorous safety, community, and environmental protocols
Experience handling sizable heavy plant equipment
Flexible, proactive attitude with a self-motivated approach to tasks
Able to follow directions and take initiative independently
