About the Role

As part of our Environmental Approvals team, you will contribute to critical projects influencing communities across Australia, specializing in resource developments and major infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with environmental assessments and planning efforts within resource and infrastructure sectors.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to secure environmental approvals that meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Engage in proposal creation and support business development in a collaborative team setting.
• Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and specialists including ecologists, acousticians, contaminated land scientists, engineers, and designers to generate practical and innovative environmental solutions.
• Design monitoring programs and evaluate environmental impacts using data analysis to guide decisions on significant projects.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Urban Planning, Ecology, or related disciplines; postgraduate degrees are beneficial.
• Bring approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, with particular exposure to Western Australia's resource sector preferred.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and policy frameworks.
• Experience with GIS, environmental data analysis, or digital assessment tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
