Currently, NTU International is assembling a network of experienced Non-Key Experts for the EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project. This initiative seeks to improve collaboration between the EU and MENA regions by promoting competitive clean energy markets, investment prospects, and sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform market, economic, and sector-specific analyses related to energy.
• Evaluate electricity market structures, pricing systems, and emerging market trends.
• Analyze demand, supply dynamics, and market potential for clean technologies.
• Assist in energy market modelling, forecasting, and scenario development.
• Assess the economic feasibility and competitiveness of renewable energy and clean technology solutions.
• Conduct cost-benefit evaluations alongside socioeconomic and market impact studies.
• Identify regulatory and market challenges obstructing the deployment of clean technologies.
• Prepare comprehensive market analyses, analytical reports, policy briefs, and investment assessments.

Requirements

• University degree in economics, energy economics, finance, engineering, energy studies, or related field.
• Proven professional experience in energy market analysis, economic evaluation, or energy sector modeling.
• Familiarity with renewable energy, electricity markets, energy transition, and clean technology sectors.
• Professional experience within MENA energy markets is highly preferred.
• Experience working on EU institutional projects, international financial institutions, or donor-funded energy programs is advantageous.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting capabilities.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English is essential.
• Proficiency in French and/or Arabic is considered a significant asset.
