Job description

Role Overview

As an Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating and sustaining strategic partnerships with various employers to broaden recruitment networks, enhance workforce involvement, and identify enduring employment opportunities aligned with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage consistently with employers to determine workforce needs through ongoing communication, labor market analysis, and sector research to underpin employment initiatives.
  • Organise employer engagement programs, business outreach efforts, and partnership development activities to boost employer participation and improve program results.
  • Forge and nurture collaborative connections with employers, public agencies, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and community groups to advance employment networks and workforce development efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary program teams to facilitate integrated services, plan operations, and meet organisational targets following established protocols.
  • Create and execute employer engagement plans, including tailored workforce solutions, recruitment drives, and business development actions, consistent with program aims.
  • Lead employer consultations, coordinate partnership meetings, networking events, and stakeholder engagements to promote organizational programs and enhance employer involvement.
  • Track labor market trends, workforce needs, industry developments, and local employment opportunities to inform strategic planning and engagement.
  • Oversee program implementation ensuring adherence to policies, contract terms, operational guidelines, quality standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Maintain precise program documentation, analyze employment and operational data, prepare reports for management, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Coordinate program activities through effective communication with stakeholders, operational management, and ongoing service enhancements to realize performance goals.
  • Support induction of employers, initiatives to retain workforce, and post-placement engagement to build lasting business relationships and foster employment sustainability.
  • Ensure full compliance with GDPR, organizational governance, confidentiality requirements, quality assurance, and all relevant operational procedures.
  • Participate actively in organizational meetings, professional growth opportunities, national networks, and cross-sector collaborations aimed at continuous service improvement and excellence.
  • Contribute to organizational planning, program innovation, performance enhancement, and strategic workforce development to improve effectiveness and employer engagement outcomes.
