Job Overview

This role involves supervising the electrical installation processes in substations, ensuring efficient resource distribution, and monitoring team progress. The supervisor will be accountable for planning, workforce management, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Estimate bills of quantity for electrical and mechanical materials necessary for the tasks.
• Plan and utilize manpower effectively, monitor work progress, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Allocate manpower and materials appropriately to optimize budget use.
• Conduct daily safety briefings covering work procedures, equipment use, hazard response, and safety rules.
• Ensure all site execution follows updated and accurate installation drawings and documentation.
• Oversee the work of team members to guarantee quality outcomes.
• Contribute relevant insights and support supervisors during planning and evaluation meetings.
• Compile daily progress reports documenting completed activities.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Must hold a vocational or advanced vocational diploma in electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in power distribution or transmission sectors, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing manpower and conducting electrical installations.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools and machinery essential for electrical work.
