Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our team on-site in AlUla. This role focuses on managing electrical aspects of a significant construction project, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout all phases.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise electrical construction activities during all stages of the project.
- Examine electrical design and shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for accuracy and adherence.
- Validate that all work complies with project requirements, electrical codes, standards, quality measures, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor installation processes and confirm alignment with approved designs.
- Manage operations related to High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), power distribution, and low-current systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders to promote smooth project execution.
- Supervise installation and inspection of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, LAN, Telephone, Public Address, Audio Visual, CATV, Building Management Systems (BMS), and other Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
- Offer technical support and troubleshoot electrical issues arising on site.
- Implement quality control protocols and enforce project standards consistently.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, technical documentation, and progress summaries.
- Assist project teams in meeting timelines, quality targets, and functional requirements.
- Manage onsite activities to guarantee efficient delivery and execution of the project.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- At least 10 years of practical experience in construction and engineering projects.
- Experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) firms is mandatory.
- In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution and low-current technologies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, codes, quality assurance, and safety standards.
- Proficient in reviewing design documents, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, site-based work environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software applications.
