Draftsman - Wedding and Event Concept

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Qatar with Bella Group Services requires a skilled Draftsman specializing in weddings and event concepts. The role focuses on crafting detailed 2D layouts and technical blueprints for various event components including stages, halls, entrances, walkways, seating plans, and decorative elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive 2D technical drawings and layouts tailored for weddings and special events.
• Design structural elements such as stages, event halls, entryways, pathways, and seating configurations.
• Generate 3D concept models and visual presentations as needed to support design ideas.
• Engage in close collaboration with Design, Planning, and Production teams to ensure cohesion.
• Produce drawings that are accurate, feasible, and ready for production.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Background in event management, wedding planning, exhibition design, or interior design is desirable.
• Strong grasp of spatial dimensions, layouts, and structural aspects relevant to events.
• Creativity combined with meticulous attention to details and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing previous related projects is highly advantageous.
