Dotnet Technical Lead

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dotnet Technical Lead with expertise in both backend and frontend technologies to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise application development, team leadership, and modern cloud and microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a development team specializing in .NET and React technologies to build robust applications.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions ensuring high security standards.
• Provide technical oversight including code reviews and mentoring to ensure quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps to facilitate the delivery of integrated solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, leveraging API Gateway for integration.
• Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ.
• Engage in solution design activities, effort estimation, and participate actively in sprint planning ceremonies.
• Uphold coding standards, enforce security measures, and optimize application performance.
• Support production release management and troubleshoot complex issues promptly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience in .NET technology stack including substantial work on enterprise applications.
• 2 to 3 years experience in a technical leadership capacity managing development teams.
• Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core/.NET 8, and React.js.
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka for event-driven systems.
• Deep understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and enterprise architectures.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices, especially within Azure DevOps.
