Director of Operations

About the Role

A prominent luxury tile and bath company with six locations nationwide and a wide distribution reach seeks a Director of Operations based in Atlanta, GA. This leadership role involves managing all aspects of operations from the Atlanta headquarters, supervising a team of three direct reports, and ensuring seamless coordination between logistics, technology, and showroom performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the distribution center, warehousing, and inventory control systems.
• Oversee purchasing strategies including vendor management, procurement, and cost competitiveness.
• Lead data management activities, improvements to ERP systems, and integration of new technology solutions.
• Ensure efficient operations in physical showroom locations across the country.
• Implement automation and IT-driven solutions to increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• At least five years of leadership experience in operations management.
• Background in luxury retail, building materials, or showroom settings is preferred.
• High proficiency with IT systems, with experience upgrading operational platforms; familiarity with SAP Business One is advantageous.
