Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Digital UX/UI Designer to join a global pharmaceutical company's in-house creative agency. This remote position requires a digital-first mindset with a strong background in advertising agency environments, focusing on creating user-centered digital designs across multiple marketing platforms.
Work Schedule and Duration
The role is an ongoing contract starting with an initial one-year assignment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (U.S. time zone).
Compensation
The pay rate ranges from $41 to $57 per hour, depending on experience level.
Responsibilities
- Design user-friendly digital experiences for websites, email campaigns, banners, social media, mobile apps, and additional marketing touchpoints.
- Develop responsive interfaces that provide seamless user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Incorporate UX research insights, usability guidelines, accessibility criteria, and current design standards throughout the design process.
- Work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Developers, Account Managers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality digital assets.
- Translate business goals and user needs into clean, intuitive, and visually compelling interface designs.
- Engage in design reviews, apply stakeholder feedback, and iterate designs to meet evolving requirements.
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure superior visual quality with attention to detail in all digital deliverables.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging UX/UI trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance design quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Visual Communications, Interactive Design, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products or marketing campaigns.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an advertising or creative agency setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital UX/UI work across varied platforms and devices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a dynamic agency environment.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in Figma design software.
- Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD.
- Knowledgeable in responsive web and mobile design principles.
- Understanding of user experience and interface design best practices.
- Ability to create wireframes and visual designs consistent with modern design systems and patterns.
- Strong foundation in user-centered design methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing clickable prototypes.
- Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS.
- Skills in motion graphics or animation.
- Background in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
- Experience working within regulated industry design standards.
- Preference for clean, modern, and minimal design aesthetics.
