Role Overview

We are seeking a Deputy Manager for our Waterford store to play a pivotal role in store operations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store operational excellence by ensuring compliance with processes, regulations, and key performance indicators. Support the Store Manager in performance analysis and continuous improvement.
• Enhance customer engagement by leading your team to deliver personalized advice and maintaining a welcoming, clean store environment.
• Support team development by providing empowering and empathetic leadership, fostering a culture of trust and respect with a focus on training and engagement.
• Manage merchandising and inventory, ensuring shelves are well-stocked following correct planograms and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Uphold brand integrity by ensuring top animal welfare standards and advocating responsible pet ownership.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in retail with a track record in deputy management positions.
• Leadership ability demonstrated by managing store operations empathetically and effectively during the manager’s absence.
• Strong motivation for personal growth and learning aimed at progressing to store manager roles.
• Exceptional customer service skills and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong alignment to company values.
