Role Overview
The company is hiring a dependable and on-time Delivery Boy / Delivery Executive to support product deliveries across the assigned area. This role sits within Operations / Logistics and reports to the Logistics Supervisor or Operations Manager. The selected person will be expected to complete deliveries safely, follow company procedures, and maintain a customer-focused approach throughout the delivery process.
What You’ll Do
- Collect products and deliver them to customers safely and within the planned timeframe.
- Check delivery items against invoices before leaving for dispatch.
- Obtain customer signatures or other valid proof of delivery.
- Handle cash-on-delivery collections and deposit the collected amount according to company process.
- Keep accurate delivery records and share daily status reports.
- Update customers about delivery progress whenever needed.
- Take care of the goods during transit to avoid damage.
- Work according to assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in basic working condition.
- Observe traffic regulations and all safety instructions issued by the company.
- Escalate delivery delays, issues, or vehicle concerns to the supervisor without delay.
Eligibility and Requirements
Candidates should have passed at least 10th standard (SSLC) or an equivalent qualification. A valid two-wheeler driving licence is compulsory. Having your own two-wheeler is preferred where applicable. Applicants should be familiar with local routes and navigation apps. Prior delivery work experience is an advantage, though it is not required.
Skills Needed
The role calls for clear communication, customer handling, time awareness, dependability, and the ability to work without constant supervision. Basic smartphone usage for delivery apps is also expected.
Pay and Benefits
Compensation is listed at INR 25,000 to INR 50,000 per month, with possible fuel allowance or incentives where applicable. Performance-linked incentives and other employee benefits will be provided as per company policy.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time role. Work schedules may be rotational or fixed depending on business needs. Weekly off days will be provided according to company policy.
