Role Overview
The Deal Desk Analyst is an integral member of the Legal team, collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal departments to streamline the commercial deal lifecycle. The role involves supporting pricing, quoting, deal structuring, drafting and reviewing Order Forms, handling customer contract negotiations, and managing Salesforce opportunities. Success demands analytical precision, attention to detail, and effective teamwork in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain thorough knowledge of product packaging, pricing schemes, and commercial policies to assist Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Create, evaluate, and manage both standard and complex Order Forms, acting as the central Deal Desk contact throughout the sales cycle.
- Analyze customer contract modifications to identify business and revenue impacts, advising internal teams on suitable responses and approvals.
- Develop innovative, customer-aligned solutions that comply with company commercial and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely management of sales opportunities within Salesforce.
- Identify and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and scalability of deal operations.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure consistent communication and a positive customer experience.
- Contribute to scalability projects including automation, documentation, reporting, and analytics related to deal processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Residence in Eastern or Central Time Zone is required.
- Minimum of two years working experience in Deal Desk or comparable commercial operations roles, with complex SaaS deal structuring expertise.
- Experienced user of Salesforce and a CPQ tool, preferably DealHub.
- Knowledgeable about MSAs, Order Forms, and contract negotiations, capable of identifying contractual issues and coordinating legal responses.
- Strong business acumen to convert objectives into practical, scalable commercial agreements.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to details with problem-solving skills.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects, working independently, and owning full deal cycles from quote to execution.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Customer-oriented with dedication to providing superior internal service.
- Self-motivated with initiative, curiosity, and accountability.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 and includes eligibility for bonuses.
