Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Austin, Texas. The Data Research Analyst will gather, structure, and examine data tied to markets, technology offerings, and client projects to help guide business decisions and service delivery. The role combines research, dataset management, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis, along with creating reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

The analyst will work closely with project managers, technical teams, and outside partners to define information needs, verify data accuracy, and deliver actionable insights that improve efficiency and client results. The position also includes tracking industry developments, documenting research and analysis methods, and helping refine ongoing data and research workflows.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring a solid background in data research and market research, with the ability to collect, verify, and interpret information from multiple sources. Strong analytical and data analysis abilities are important for identifying patterns and turning findings into useful recommendations. Clear communication is needed to present results, produce documentation, and work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Familiarity with spreadsheets and data tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms, as well as reporting and visualization work, is advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or Economics is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered.
