Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Data Infrastructure Engineer position to work remotely on a full-time basis. The role is focused on architecting, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that empower business insights and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Create, enhance, and optimize pipelines to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data efficiently.
Develop and sustain data warehouses and lakes that support both analytics and operational reporting needs.
Partner with data scientists and analysts to guarantee accessible and accurate data for various stakeholders.
Continuously monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain system reliability and optimal performance.
Maintain comprehensive documentation covering data architecture, workflows, and compliance standards for team use.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in SQL with practical experience on relational and NoSQL databases.
Skilled in ETL/ELT orchestration tools such as Airflow, Apache Spark, or comparable frameworks.
Thorough understanding of data modeling methodologies and data warehouse design principles.
Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure for data infrastructure deployment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on scalability and high performance.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000 annually.
