Creator Operations Specialist - Malaysia Region

Role Overview

Bilibili is expanding its creator ecosystem in Southeast Asia, focusing on a platform-centric role where you will recruit and support creators to build content, publish, and earn within Bilibili’s native environment. You will manage the entire creator engagement pipeline for your market, including sourcing, onboarding, supporting creators through their initial content and payouts, and maintaining strong ongoing relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full creator recruitment and onboarding process including sourcing, relationship building, and ongoing collaboration within your assigned language market.
• Identify priority "anchor" creators and cultivate long-term partnerships through tailored engagement and negotiations serving as a trusted liaison.
• Support creators’ success on Bilibili by assisting with account setup, content publishing, and maximizing exposure via Bilibili’s platforms including access to China’s audience.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams to design content showcases, ensure seamless execution, maintain partner satisfaction, and drive healthy growth in creator performance.
• Analyze creator and content data through periodic reporting to optimize engagement, retention, and content quality.
• Localize and adapt product content such as interface copy, campaign materials, and community guidelines to fit cultural relevance and brand consistency in your market.
• Monitor local market trends, cultural nuances, and competitor activities to inform strategic improvements and enhance localized user experiences.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, International Business, or a related discipline.
• Fluent English professional proficiency plus near-native proficiency in the local market language (Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu), demonstrated through effective communication and content localization.
• 3 to 5 years of prior experience in creator or talent recruitment, partnerships, content strategy, or creator operations with proven capability in building cross-cultural relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the creator economy, social media landscapes, and community culture within your market, with existing connections to creators or influencers preferred.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, confident in public brand representation, and ability to organize and host events.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytically minded, and resilient, especially in managing relationship-driven negotiations and consistent outreach processes.
• Passion for digital content, Animation, Comics, Games (ACG) culture, and the creator community, with outstanding cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Assets

• Familiarity with Bilibili or broader ACG ecosystems.
• Experience with creator monetization models such as subscriptions, tipping, gifting, or memberships.
• An established network of overseas-Chinese creators, ACG communities, or local creators within your assigned market.
