Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to join our team and create compelling video content tailored for direct-to-consumer (D2C) performance marketing initiatives. This role involves crafting videos that captivate audiences across social media, digital advertising, and promotional platforms, contributing to brand engagement and conversion goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce polished video content for various marketing channels including social media, user-generated content (UGC), YouTube, and product promotions.
- Enhance videos by incorporating motion graphics, smooth transitions, captions, sound effects, and visual enhancements to improve overall quality.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to execute strategic content plans effectively.
- Adjust and format video content to suit different social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook ensuring optimized delivery.
- Integrate feedback and analyze performance metrics to refine video content for improved engagement and effectiveness.
- Handle multiple editing projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Between 2 to 7 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production.
- Expertise with video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Prior experience working on performance marketing, social media campaigns, or within the D2C brand ecosystem.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools like Midjourney, ElevenLabs, and OpenArt to enhance content creation.
- Strong storytelling ability, understanding of pacing, visual aesthetics, and capacity to engage an audience.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project priorities.
