Job Overview
The Country Manager oversees all operational, technical, and sales functions for the business throughout the country, aiming to foster a rewarding work environment while driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic regional business plan focused on growth, sales execution, and brand positioning.
- Lead and manage the local Quality Evaluation (QE) team, including their business growth and personnel development.
- Collaborate with the President and other leaders to share resources, ideas, and strategies.
- Make strategic and managerial decisions aimed at enhancing business performance.
- Prepare ambitious yet achievable budgets and business plans.
- Represent the company as an ambassador, promoting the brand to clients.
- Maintain deep understanding of market conditions and competitors to uncover growth opportunities such as new services or acquisitions.
- Ensure pricing is competitive and aligned with business guidelines.
- Support international sales initiatives.
- Reduce costs without affecting sales quality or service delivery.
- Guarantee consistent service quality based on customer feedback.
- Implement group-wide standard processes related to IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Finance, ensuring robust financial and procedural controls.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in line with the company’s Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
- Promote and maintain a safe workplace and safety culture.
- Identify and nurture talent through coaching and development.
- Manage financial metrics including backlog, accounts receivable, cash flow, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or a recognized equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent business/quality-related experience.
- At least seven years of relevant industry experience.
- Certifications or licenses relevant to the area of expertise, if required.
- Experience with management systems certification is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record managing profit and loss (P&L).
Skills and Abilities
- Capable of coordinating and motivating teams towards shared objectives.
- Strong ability to convert strategy into actionable and executable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficient with computer tools for presentations, communication, and operating company platforms.
- Experience in technical service or consulting business environments.
- International experience and willingness to travel as needed.
- Comfortable working within diverse, multicultural settings.
- Energetic leadership to instill a culture of consistent delivery.
- Ability to quickly grasp the company’s Quality Evaluations Business Assurance System.
- Fluency in the local language and English.
Preferred Attributes
- A graduate business degree is a plus.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Vice President or President of the Quality Evaluations division and may oversee individual contractors.
