About TeamKids

TeamKids is Australia's leading provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), dedicated to offering engaging, exciting, and entertaining programs for children before school, after school, and during school holidays.

Role Overview

This permanent full-time role based in Narre Warren, Victoria, involves leading an OSHC service as a Director of Service (Coordinator). The position includes flexible administrative hours that can be completed from home outside of service delivery times. You'll be supported continuously by a Mentor and Regional Manager to ensure success in your responsibilities.

Work Schedule

  • Split shifts from Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift: 6:45 AM to 9:00 AM
  • Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
  • Additional 6.75 hours for administrative duties, flexible timings

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team to deliver a safe, compliant, and enjoyable program
  • Plan and implement engaging activities for children
  • Supervise children during care hours ensuring their safety and wellbeing
  • Foster strong partnerships with the associated school and the local community
  • Oversee overall service management

Candidacy Requirements

  • A natural leadership ability combined with a passion for child education
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a fun atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents, staff, and school principals
  • Problem-solving capabilities with a positive, proactive mindset
  • Genuine passion for creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children
  • Energy and enthusiasm to foster a fun environment
  • Completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training via Geccko prior to commencing
  • Relevant Diploma qualification according to ACECQA standards or actively working towards it
