Overview

We are seeking a Contracts Manager at Seatrium to collaborate closely with Project Management to oversee all contract administration aspects throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves ensuring proper utilization of contracts, advising on compliance deviations, negotiating contract terms, and managing risks and claims effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Management to understand contract administration requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Guide the project team on correct application and use of contracts.
  • Alert Project Management, Procurement, and Subcontracts teams about deviations from contract terms during project execution.
  • Analyze contract clauses to identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Coordinate insurance coverage and documentation timely with vendors and subcontractors.

  • Oversee change order processes from identification through resolution, liaising with involved parties and negotiating claims.
  • Transfer and file original contract documents in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and updated contractual information for the project team.
  • Manage contract milestones and project close-out ensuring orderly handover.
  • Verify milestone completion and payment documentation complies with contractual terms.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of contract law, accounting principles, and finance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for identifying inconsistencies in contracts.
  • Strong ability in negotiating terms and drafting contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and mediation capabilities.
  • Skilled in problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Experience in project management or coordination of large projects is advantageous.

Additional Information

Locations: Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. at Tuas Yard (51 Pioneer Sector 1) and Tuas Boulevard Yard (80 Tuas South Boulevard), Singapore. Islandwide transport is provided.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
