About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer based in Tulsa, OK to coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of active construction projects. This full-time, onsite role supports the seamless progress of projects from initial plans through completion, acting as the central administrator and liaison among clients, site leadership, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project activities serving as the main point of contact between site leadership, operations management, and clients to ensure safety, accuracy, and smooth workflow.
- Maintain and organize all project documentation including drawings, plans, RFIs, submittals, and reports across internal systems and client portals to ensure records are current and accessible.
- Manage billing and reporting processes by tracking testing activities, e-tickets, and report submissions, ensuring completeness and timely delivery.
- Handle client and project administrative requests by tracking submissions and follow-ups, preventing duplicated efforts.
- Monitor project administrative indicators such as labor multiplier exceptions and promptly notify site leads of irregularities.
- Support field and site leaders with detailed coordination tasks to allow their focus on execution.
- Perform additional related duties to support team and project goals as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with software applications including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word), PDF tools, and document management programs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record compliant with company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior industry experience in project engineering, coordination, construction administration, or related operational support roles.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and document control procedures such as submittals and RFIs.
- Experience working with client portals and document management systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of construction materials testing is a plus but not mandatory.

Additional Information
The role involves work both in a professional office environment and on active construction sites requiring personal protective equipment. Physical demands include standing or sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Regular travel between the office and project locations within Tulsa is necessary. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with expected hours between 40 and 60 per week including overtime.
