Location Overview

Located on Abu Dhabi's vibrant Al Maryah Island waterfront, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi offers bright, spacious accommodations with panoramic views of the city skyline and Arabian Gulf. Situated in a 34-story state-of-the-art glass tower, the hotel combines cutting-edge technology and eco-friendly design with sophisticated urban luxury. Its 200 rooms, including 38 suites, provide water vistas, complemented by six innovative restaurants and lounges—making it the premier destination on Al Maryah Island for stylish dining and entertainment.

Role Summary

The Concierge Agent, reporting to the Guest Service Manager, must possess thorough knowledge of UAE attractions, events, and experiences, alongside international travel insights as needed. Exceptional guest service skills and the capacity to anticipate and adeptly address a wide range of customer requests are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver superior hospitality and professionalism in all guest interactions, handling special requests whenever possible and resolving complaints effectively.
• Provide prompt, accurate responses to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, operational hours, key personnel, events, and directions, offering informed recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel policies.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including packages, faxes, messages, and mail efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date informational materials for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and city events; build and maintain strong connections with local vendors to facilitate guest ticketing and reservations.
• Handle guest luggage and packages with care and professionalism.
• Utilize hotel software systems to document guest arrangements accurately and ensure correct billing.
• Support Guest Service, Business Center, and lobby operations during busy periods or staff absences.
• Troubleshoot basic in-room service issues such as internet connectivity, TV programming, and web services.
• Collaborate closely with the Guest Service team to ensure seamless management of guest luggage, deliveries, and special requests.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as directed by management personnel.

Candidate Profile

• At least one year of experience in a similar capacity within a luxury hotel brand.
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken, read, written); proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on guest service excellence and effective verbal and written communication.
• Capable of providing well-informed recommendations and accurate directions or arrangements.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS or comparable hotel management software.
