Computer Hardware Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Computer Hardware Engineer / IT Support Engineer to join our diamond company in Surat. The ideal candidate will independently manage and resolve routine IT-related issues involving computers, hardware, networks, CCTV systems, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair computer hardware problems including desktops and laptops.
• Perform Windows installation, software troubleshooting, and support.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printers and scanners.
• Resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network issues.
• Troubleshoot CCTV cameras and manage DVR/NVR connectivity and support.
• Handle system formatting, data backup, and data transfer tasks as needed.
• Install computers and peripheral devices ensuring proper operation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on office computers to minimize downtime.
• Quickly respond to hardware and software failures to ensure continuous operations.

Requirements

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing computer and laptop hardware components.
• Experienced in desktop troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Skilled in Windows OS installation and software issue resolution.
• Knowledgeable with RAM, SSD/HDD, SMPS, motherboard, and other hardware components.
• Competent in printer and scanner maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with LAN, Wi-Fi, and essential networking concepts.
• Experienced in CCTV camera repair, DVR/NVR operation, and camera connectivity issues.
• Ability to perform system formatting, backup, and data transfer efficiently.
• Capable of installing computers and peripheral devices independently.
• Strong problem-solving ability for daily IT challenges in an office environment.
